Where Can I Find Him?

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord
— Romans 8:38-39

Where can I find Him? Where can I find my Beloved Jesus, the One who is fairer than the sons of man?

He may be found hidden in the darkness of trial when you are inching your way along the wall and your hand finally grasps His.

He may be found in childlikeness, for in that posture, yours is the Kingdom.

He may be found in the wounds you've carried since you were young, as you look them squarely in the eye, His eyes of fire will bind up your broken heart.

He may be found in great loss, when everything seems to be stripped from you you find the One thing worth most.

He may be found in great hunger, Himself filling you in ways nothing else can possibly satisfy.

He may be found in Gethsemane; in suffering you become identified with Him.

He may also be found in joy, the same joy with which He celebrates every prodigal’s return.

There are no heights nor depths that can truly keep Him from you. Jesus wants to be found by you, and for you to be found in Him. Seek and you shall find.
