Everything Was Different

I went on a errand to the corner store and saw a veiled woman sitting in front of the sweetshop begging and I heard my Beloved whisper, "stop." So I went into the store and bought some crackers, and then went out to her, knelt down and greeted her. It was but a brief exchange but as I looked into her eyes for a moment I saw Him. Something shifted in me as I felt something shift in the atmosphere around us. When I got up to go home everything was different, the world was irreversibly changed. Love will soak the ground and prepare His way.
