Journeying Into Delight

If we really knew how much pleasure, how much joy, how much delight, the Father feels towards us, we would be transformed.

We would live like the sons and daughters that we are, walking in the fullness of our inheritance. We would exchange the dirge we've been singing for a celebration song. It would radically alter our countenance, stress lines smoothed out by the relief of His holiness. Having found that He is enough we would go forth with courage, unimpeded by the threat of loss.

It would transform our ability to love and be loved, because the shadow of fear is gone.  We would rejoice in (live well) our suffering because we would know with certainty that we meet with Him there. And like our Father, we would be willing to go to any end to seek the lost and broken and show them the way home.

In every moment and every circumstance there is an invitation for us to receive this love. We are on a journey into His heart.
